Access to Movestack

Online platforms take time, effort and resources to build, run and maintain, which is why we see other platforms resort to mechanisms such as advertisements in order to remain functional. Movestack is one of these platforms but with a huge difference: there are no ads.

However, to ensure that the platform can operate well, we have opted to require that every Movestack user pay a small subscription fee to access the platform, and we want this to be the default from the beginning.

The decision was made with a few other, important reasons in mind:

• We want to take less from the subscription revenue of creators on the platform. Without the access subscription, we would have to take a larger percentage from creators' revenue which disregards the effort that goes into making quality workout content.
• We want to block the bots! In this day and age, online platforms are plagued with bots and malicious user behaviour. By requiring this subscription, we make it difficult for these malicious users to have any material impact on the platform.

Our promise

With this requirement comes a massive responsibility for us as a team. We aim to keep this access subscription price low enough to keep it insignificant to the user, but beneficial to the platform. While we may add more subscription options in the future, access to the platform will remain at this foundation.
